Underground Electric LHD
Description:
The underground electric LHD loader, used as a mucking equipment, also called electric load-haul-dump loader (short as ELHD loader), is a kind of underground mucking machine mainly used in conveying disintegrating slag in underground mines, underground tunnels, coal mines, large underground chambers, open-cut excavation work sites, etc. It can load, haul and dump muck on different worksites. It is a front loader with no emission, low body and articulated wheels, flexible operation and reliable performance.
Advantages:
1. Energy saving: Tramming is not always faster with an electric LHD and cycle times compared with diesel machines. The major advantages of the electric LHD loaders are related to energy costs and the lack of energy wastage. It is well known that a diesel engine uses only about 30% of the fuel's energy in loading and tramming operations, with the rest lost as heat. But the electric motor in a loader has an efficiency of 95%, meaning it is much more energy efficient.
2. Cheap: It is known that using local diesel and electricity prices comes out in terms of energy costs by 3 to 1.
